Color Run 2015

Hannah and Emilia participated in their first 5k this spring.  I think these will be occuring much more often.

Genevieve joined us on this trip- it was a beautiful day for both running and watching.

The view coming up on the race was fantastic.  I am always amazed by the energy and joy that greets you at these events.

Once your their- getting into it is a necessity.  The desire to iclude everyone left Mike with some color, too.

Hannah and Emilia got into the first wave and now the party starts.  The music is so loud and the people fantastic.  Everyone from every walk of life- not scared to mingle and share some color and play.

And the run begins.

40 minutes later and the run is over.  More color and some water to cool off.

And on a final note- My daughters are amazing.  I got overwhelmed looking at these pictures and feeling so proud that my daughters love and support each other.  I always worried that my my oldest and youngest would never have a "sister" relationship- they do.  With a 14 year age difference- my oldest embraces, supports her relationship with her little sister.  It makes me proud of the woman she has become and makes me feel like the world is a better place.
