This little one is only 3g. I can't wait for it to grow. The difference colors are just due to lighting.

New pictures of the crested geckos
These guys are very relaxing.
The little ones are still skittish but my adult male is calm and seems to like to be held. I am thinking that he likes the temp of my skin.

Crested Geckos
I picked up two baby crested geckos last month. They are so small- 1 and 2 grams. They are eating Repashy and pooping with good tummies- but sooo small.
I picked up a large male at Repticon this weekend. So much more substantial. I love the way he looks and feels. Can't wait for my little ones to get bigger.

Leopard Gecko venture
I decided to invest in some more interactive (aka- not in water) critters.
After much research I decided to get some geckos. Bellow are my two new Leopard Geckos. I am working on building back drops and hides to make their tanks amazing. Pictures to come of the enclosures.
And this one is a Tangerine from Tangerine parents.

Update on the Tree frogs
I went to feed them and noticed something pink in the leaves. One of my frogs had a prolapsed rectum. There was a solid inch extending out from the anus. I failed to snap a picture- I went into fix it mode. I used something I had read up on a few years ago when I first got them. I placed him in warm water with a few drops of honey. Within a few hours the prolapse was gone. He has been quiet for the last week. I did hear him return croak once this week and am cautiously optimistic.
Here are some pics from a couple of weeks ago.
Green Marbled Newt aka Triturus marmoratus
I picked up these beauties in early August. They are doing great and eat like pigs. They have lost some of there skittishness from following the same feeding routine. I have wanted to get these guys for years but was a little intimidated by my inexperience and the cost. I am really happy that I waited- they seem so easy to manage and a great opportunity came my way that made the cost not an issue.
The first set of 3 pictures is when I got them 5 weeks ago and the second set of 3 pictures are from this week.
