Leachie up close

Leachianus up close.

Further amazed by nature.

Love their mouths- their scales are amazing.  Totally see where myths of dragons came from.

Their feet are so big.

Their tails project out from a tuck of skin.  they are beefy and short.

The coloration on their scales are like abstract art.

Love how their little nails are covered.

Leachianus- how can you beat pink and green!

I love how these little ones sport pink and green.

I have one that is quiet vocal.  She starts yelling when she sees me cleaning the terrarium next to hers.  She has never been aggressive but she sure likes to vocalize.

Leachianus update

The leachianus are coming along.  Nudal, pine island mix, is now 130+grams.  Nico, Moro, has been stuck around 60 grams.  Numa, Nu ana x Nu ami is also stuck right around 60 grams.  Nugget is new this fall and is up to 18 grams.

Here they are in their glory.

Nudal in all her glory.  She is quiet the handful.

Leachianus Leap

I have made the leap into owning Leachianus Geckos.  Introducing my first Leachie- I'd like you to meet Numa Numa.

I left my husband a little stunned when I called to him from the car that I needed help.   I took this little guy out so I could take my "Day I got you" photo and he proceeded to jump out of the car and was heading under the car next to us.  Didn't expect it to be so bold (my mistake).
